We’re looking for a Senior Product Owner – Core Banking Platform to define how the Unloan Home Loan works now and in to the future. This is a direction setting role with real impact: shaping how customers experience their home loan every single day.
 

You and your team will ensure the Unloan Home Loan safely, compliantly and efficiently meets the needs of all its customers, and enables Unloan teams to deliver on their growth agenda.
 

Do work that matters:

As Senior Product Owner – Core Banking Platform, you own the the product and platform that  operates the Unloan Home Loan — from charging interest, processing repayments, actioning loan changes and servicing, and ensuring all obligations are met, risks reduced and incidents resolved.  You will be the engine behind the Unloan customer experience, managing customer needs, complex regulation, and modern banking and lending platforms, you will lead a team that balances real human outcomes with serious technical and risk accountability.
 

What you’ll do

As Senior Product Owner – Core Banking Platform, you’ll lead a cross‑functional team responsible for the core Unloan Home Loan Platform, including:

• Managing the core banking platform and ensuring business critical services such as interest charging, repayments and amoritisation are rock solid

• Evolving our core banking platform so that it supports all business needs

• Running orchestration and workflows that deliver critical business processes

• Platform integrations across Unloan, CBA and downstream partners

• Ensuring we meet our regulatory and compliance obligations
   

You’ll set the strategy, prioritise the work, and lead talented product, technology, and operations leaders to deliver services that are simple, compliant, and genuinely helpful for customers.

What you’ll be accountable for

• Owning and operating the core banking platform

• Setting and delivering a product strategy and roadmap for our core banking platform

• Leading squads across discovery and delivery

• Partnering closely with risk, legal, and compliance teams

• Ensuring platforms are stable, secure, and scalable

• Building and leading a high‑performing, inclusive team

We are interested in hearing from people who have:

• Proven experience operating core banking or lending platforms

• Strong product and delivery leadership capability

• Comfort operating in complex, regulated environments

• Ability to balance customer outcomes with commercial and risk considerations

• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills

• Experience in banking, financial services, and regulated digital platforms
