About the role
Join our vibrant culinary team aboard our fleet of cruises, overseeing culinary operations under the guidance of our Head Chefs. As a culinary expert with a flair for Modern Australian and Western cuisine, you will be part of a dynamic kitchen environment delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Key responsibilities
Assist the preparation and design of all food menus, ensuring high-quality plates that delight our guests
Oversee section in kitchen operations, maintaining exceptional standards in taste, presentation, and timeliness of your section
Manage and train junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment
Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
Collaborate with the team to deliver a seamless dining experience for our customers
About you
Minimum 2+ years experience as a strong Chef
Proven skills in Modern Australian, Western, and Indian cuisine (Indian cuisine experience is preferred)
Food Safety Knowledge (FSS Certification preferred)
Cert IV in cookery or related certificate preferred
Strong understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and kitchen management
Creative leader with a track record of excellence and a commitment to quality
Permanent resident or Australian Citizen
