Broadsheet Media is looking for an Office Experience Manager to own the day-to-day experience of our workplace.

We’re looking for someone who loves looking after people and notices the details that shape how a workplace feels. You’ll be the person who makes sure the office is welcoming and ready each morning, that visitors feel looked after, that new starters have a brilliant first day, and that meetings, events and everyday office life run smoothly.
You’ll have ideas about how to make the office feel more connected, considered and enjoyable, and the practical skills to turn those ideas into something real.
This is a full-time role, five days per week, reporting to the People & Culture Manager.
The RoleYou’ll be the host of the Broadsheet Melbourne office and a key point of connection across the business, while also providing support to our Sydney and London offices. The role spans workplace experience, office operations, People & Culture support and broader business coordination.You’ll take ownership of the space and the experience people have in it. That means anticipating what is needed, fixing the small things before they become big things and bringing warmth and energy to the way the office runs.
Key Responsibilities IncludeOwning the presentation, atmosphere and everyday experience of the office, making sure it feels welcoming, organised, energetic and distinctly Broadsheet.Being a host for employees, candidates, clients, partners and visitors, making sure people feel looked after.Preparing for important meetings, interviews and events, including booking rooms, organising catering and organising building access for our visitors.Keeping shared spaces including meeting rooms, reception, kitchen and communal areas looking and functioning as they should throughout the day.Running the practical side of the workplace, from building access, deliveries and office supplies to managing relationships with maintenance, cleaning and security suppliers.Keeping office equipment and meeting-room technology working, tackling straightforward issues yourself and coordinating specialist support when needed.Acting as the link between employees and IT support, including first-line troubleshooting.Creating a welcoming and organised onboarding experience for new starters across all locations, including equipment setup, office access, desk setup, office tours and first-day logistics.Supporting offboarding across all locations, recruitment administration, employee records and other People & Culture coordination.Driving the operational side of workplace culture initiatives, including concepting, planning, communications, budgets and delivery.Providing support to members of the Executive and Senior Leadership Teams where required.Looking for ways to make things better. You’ll spot recurring problems, unnecessary friction and opportunities to improve the employee and visitor experience, then help solve them.About YouYou’re highly personable, naturally welcoming and someone who gets genuine satisfaction from creating a great experience for other people.You understand that good workplace energy doesn’t happen by accident.
