Yaunati is currently seeking 20+ experienced Abrasive Blasters, Industrial Painters and Brush/Roll Painters for upcoming FIFO project work across the Pilbara, Northern Territory and regional WA.

These roles will support major mining, industrial and infrastructure projects, with works across tank infrastructure, process plant, fixed plant, structural steel and industrial assets.

About the Role

• 2:1 FIFO rosters
• 12-hour shifts
• 6-month project work with possibility of extension
• Competitive hourly rates of $65–$72/hr, depending on experience
• Abrasive blasting, industrial spray painting and brush/roller work available
• Work across protective coatings, surface preparation and asset preservation scopes

Duties May Include

• Abrasive blasting and surface preparation
• Industrial spray painting and protective coating application
• Brush and roller application
• Coating touch-ups and detail work
• Working on tanks, process plant, fixed plant and structural steel
• Maintaining strong safety, quality and housekeeping standards on site

Essential Requirements

• Experience in abrasive blasting, industrial painting, protective coatings, surface preparation or brush and roller application
• Experience in mining, shutdown, construction, industrial, fixed plant or heavy infrastructure environments
• Construction White Card
• Working at Heights
• Confined Space
• EWP Licence
• Ability to complete pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
• Current Australian working rights

Highly Regarded

• Airless spray experience
• Tank, process plant or structural steel experience
• Mine-site or FIFO experience
• Shutdown experience
• HR Licence
• Forklift ticket
• Gas Test Atmospheres
• Other relevant high-risk licences
