This is a Permanent Full Time role at 1.0 FTE.
Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill this vacancy, it may also be used to appoint applicants, assessed as suitable during this selection process, to the same or other similar positions at CAHS for up to 12 months. These can be permanent part time or fixed term part time opportunities with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

About Our Team:
The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in Western Australia offer support, advice and treatment to children and adolescents from birth to 18 years who are experiencing mental health challenges.
CAHS helps children grow and thrive and we offer these same opportunities to the nurses who join our team. Our team-oriented approach allows for extensive clinical upskilling, and leadership development opportunities for nurses of all levels.
CAMHS Crisis Connect (CCC) provides a single point of contact for children in community settings across State-wide Western Australia (including metropolitan emergency departments) who require urgent mental health support, brief intervention and/or assessment.
Support is offered in a variety of different mediums including mental health assessments in PCH emergency department, tele-health assessments for young people in external ED’s in addition to a 24/7 crisis line accessible to all young people, their families and carers in addition to professionals such as teachers, GPs and school psychologists seeking expert advice.
About the Role:
We are seeking highly motivated experienced nurse to provide leadership and support to the CAMHS Crisis Connect team. This position is a specialist role which provides an effective clinical and management function. Areas of accountability will include the provision of advanced service delivery, leadership, clinical standard setting and monitoring, policy development, and change management.

Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
