As we continue to grow and improve, we are seeking an experienced Asset Manager, Structures.

About the opportunity:
In this key role based in Northam, you will lead the strategic management, preservation and improvement of bridge assets and other structures across the Wheatbelt Region. You will oversee the monitoring, assessment and reporting of asset condition and performance, identify investment priorities, and develop long-term asset management plans and programs that support a safe, reliable and sustainable road network. Through the effective use of asset data, investigations and performance analysis, you will help ensure bridge assets continue to meet agreed service levels and support the needs of regional communities.
Working closely with Local Governments, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders, you will provide specialist technical advice and lead the development of bridge improvement initiatives from concept through to planning. You will contribute to the Ten Year Bridge Program and Annual Bridge Plan, manage technical investigations and consultant contracts, and drive continuous improvement in structures asset management systems, standards and processes. Successful applicants will leverage their expertise in structures asset management, design, construction, maintenance or refurbishment, together with strong project management, stakeholder engagement and communication skills, to influence infrastructure investment decisions and deliver sustainable outcomes for the community.
