About the role
The Manager Organisational Development is part of the People and Performance team within People and Culture. The role is responsible for leading the design, delivery and continuous improvement of organisational development strategies, programs and initiatives that strengthen workforce capability, leadership effectiveness and organisational culture, creating an environment where people feel valued, supported and empowered to perform at their best.
The People and Performance team comprises Business Partnering and Organisational Development functions that work collaboratively to deliver integrated people solutions, build organisational capability and foster a culture that enables the achievement of the Department's strategic priorities.
The Manager Organisational Development provides strategic leadership for the Department's organisational development agenda, driving initiatives that strengthen culture, leadership, workforce capability, employee experience and organisational effectiveness. The role leads the development and delivery of enterprise-wide strategies, frameworks and programs that build a high-performing, inclusive and future-ready workforce, enabling the achievement of the Department's strategic priorities.
Working in partnership with People and Performance Business Partners, senior leaders and key stakeholders, the Manager Organisational Development provides expert advice and consultancy on organisational culture, leadership and organisational development, talent management, workforce capability and change. The role is responsible for embedding contemporary organisational development practices across the Department, ensuring initiatives are evidence-based, outcomes-focused and sustainable, and fostering the capability and culture required to support ongoing transformation and organisational success.
As the leader of the Organisational Development function, the role oversees the design, implementation and evaluation of frameworks and initiatives spanning culture, diversity, equity and inclusion, wellbeing, leadership and talent development, organisational change and ensuring organisational development efforts are aligned to business needs and deliver measurable impact.

Details of appointmentPermanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, with an as soon as possible start.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary$144,169 to $153,844 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
