Marketing Assistant

Marnong Estate is seeking a creative, organised, and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to support the delivery of marketing, communications, content, and promotional activity across the growing estate. Working closely with the Brand & Communications Manager, you will assist in executing marketing campaigns, managing social media content, supporting digital communications, coordinating promotional materials, and helping showcase the unique experiences Marnong Estate has to offer. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career marketing professional looking to gain hands-on experience across hospitality, tourism, events, accommodation, and lifestyle marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery of marketing campaigns, promotions, and seasonal activations

• Coordinate and schedule social media content across various platforms

• Create engaging written, photographic, and video content

• Assist with email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and customer communications

• Update website content, event listings, promotions, and imagery

• Support the creation and coordination of marketing collateral including menus, brochures, signage, and digital assets

• Capture content at events, weddings, dining experiences, and estate activations

• Assist with campaign reporting and performance tracking

• Maintain content calendars, marketing records, and digital asset libraries

• Support internal departments with marketing requests and promotional activities

About you

• Qualification in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field desirable

• Previous marketing experience, internship, or relevant work placement desirable

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Experience using social media platforms for business

• Excellent organisational and time-management skills

• High attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Canva

• A passion for hospitality, tourism, events, or lifestyle brands

Highly Desirable

• Experience with Meta Business Suite.

• Basic photography or video content creation skills.

• Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or Klaviyo.

• Website CMS experience.

• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
