• Prepare and cook a wide range of authentic Indian dishes.

• Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.

• Assist in developing new menu items and seasonal specials.

• Monitor food costs and minimise wastage.

• Order, receive, and manage stock and kitchen supplies.

• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness.

• Supervise and support junior kitchen staff.

• Work closely with the Head Chef and restaurant management to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

    Qualification & experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Chef in Indian cuisine.
• Applicant must have Cert IV in kitchen Management and Diploma of Hospitality Management.
• Sound knowledge of traditional Indian cooking methods, spices, and recipes.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Positive attitude with excellent teamwork and communication skills.

• Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
