As Rehab Hire continues to grow its hospital contracts, we are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant / Delivery Driver to join our team and support the efficient operation of our warehouse and delivery service.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring hospital orders are accurately picked, prepared, cleaned, dispatched and delivered within the required timeframe.

You will play an important role in supporting our hospital contracts and ensuring equipment is available when needed.

The role will include:

• Delivering mattresses and hire equipment to contracted hospitals safely and efficiently

• Ensuring hospital orders are delivered within the required 4-hour turnaround

• Accurately picking and preparing equipment (Air mattresses) for hospital orders

• Checking equipment is clean, presentable and meets quality standards

• Loading and unloading vehicles

• Assisting with the dispatch processes

• Sorting, organising and maintaining the warehouse

• Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse during periods when deliveries or equipment preparation are not required

• Following company procedures relating to equipment handling, cleanliness and delivery

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Reliable, punctual and well organised

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

• Able to work independently and manage time effectively

• Comfortable driving and making deliveries to hospitals

• Detail-oriented and takes pride in their work

• Able to work efficiently in a time-sensitive environment

• Professional and courteous when dealing with hospital staff and customers

• Happy to get hands-on and assist wherever required

A current driver's licence is essential.

Previous warehouse, delivery, healthcare equipment or hospital experience would be advantageous, but is not essential for the right candidate.

Hours & Employment

• Casual or permanent part-time available for the right candidate

• 1:00pm – 7:00pm

• Work available 7 days per week, with rostered days

• Immediate start
