We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Administration Officer to become the central hub of our business operations and support our continued growth.
This is a varied role that offers the opportunity to work closely with multiple departments, contribute to business improvement initiatives, and play a key role in ensuring our office and operational functions run smoothly.
About the role
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Administration Officer will provide administrative support across the business while coordinating office functions, reporting activities, and departmental communications. You will be the first point of contact for many internal and external stakeholders and will help ensure efficient day-to-day operations across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
Coordinate and manage daily administrative functions across the business.
Act as a central point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders.
Prepare and submit waste and sustainability reports.
Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and waste management providers.
Maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems.
Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and general enquiries.
Prepare reports, presentations, and business documentation.
Schedule meetings and coordinate travel, accommodation, and company events.
Monitor office supplies and ensure the office environment runs efficiently.
Support management and operational teams with various administrative tasks.
About you
Previous experience in an administrative, office support, or coordinator role.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Outstanding organisational and time management abilities.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Professional, friendly, and approachable manner.
Certificate in Business Administration or similar qualification (desirable).
Experience with waste reporting, environmental compliance, or sustainability initiatives (desirable).
Experience using accounting software such as MYOB or Xero (desirable).
