Occupational Health Screener / Nurse / Ex Phys

About the role

This role is open to experienced professionals with backgrounds in Enrolled Nursing, Exercise Science, Physiotherapy, or Occupational Health Screening. Comprehensive training and ongoing support will be provided to ensure you are confident and well-equipped in the role. You will be based across our Burswood and Northern clinics.

Key responsibilities

• Conducting laboratory drug and alcohol testing

• Performing audiometry and spirometry assessments

• Performing pre-employment medical screenings, which include taking blood pressure, heart rate, BMI, vision, hearing, spirometry, and urinalysis

• Conducting musculoskeletal and functional capacity assessments

• Performing ECG assessments as required

• Greeting and assisting candidates to ensure a professional and welcoming experience

• Managing documentation, records, and administrative tasks in line with clinical and privacy requirements

About you

• A positive attitude and strong willingness to learn

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with candidates, clients and colleagues

• The ability to work independently when required while also contributing positively to a team environment

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality assessments

• Willingness to obtain a National Police Clearance and complete a musculoskeletal functional assessment as part of our pre-employment requirements

• Willingness and flexibility to travel between our clinic locations as required
