Senior SEO & GEO Specialist

About the role

This is a hands-on specialist role. You will lead SEO and GEO strategy across a growing portfolio of clients, do the work you are brilliant at and be our go-to authority on organic and AI search, mentoring the wider team where it helps. It is ideal for someone who loves staying at the frontier of search and takes pride in turning that knowledge into real client results.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SEO and GEO strategy across a growing portfolio of clients

• Own the SEO and GEO space and help the agency stay ahead of where search is going

• Conduct hands-on work in technical, content and authority SEO

• Guide clients on Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), the practice of making brands the answer that AI engines like ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Gemini cite and recommend

• Mentor the wider team on organic and AI search

• Communicate clearly with clients, explaining SEO and GEO without the jargon

About you

• Solid experience in SEO across technical, content and authority, ideally within a marketing, digital or creative agency, or across multiple clients

• Genuine, hands-on GEO / AI-search experience (or serious self-driven experimentation) and can show what you have done

• Know technical SEO well, including site architecture, crawling and indexation, Core Web Vitals and structured data / schema

• Understand how entities, structured data and content structure influence what AI engines retrieve and cite

• Fluent with the core toolkit, including Google Search Console and GA4, Ahrefs or Semrush, and Screaming Frog, plus AI-visibility trackers such as Profound, Peec AI or Otterly.ai

• Self-directed and reliable, and happy owning your own patch
