About the role
It takes courage to build a life you choose.
At Richmind WA, we believe recovery is personal, meaningful and driven by the individual. As a Recovery Support Worker within our Individualised Community Living Strategy (ICLS) team, you will walk alongside people experiencing mental health challenges, helping them build confidence, strengthen connections and achieve their goals.
This is more than a support role. It's an opportunity to help people shape their own lives, bridge gaps in their communities and create positive change, one conversation and one step at a time.
As a Recovery Support Worker, you will provide practical, person-centred support to people living in the community. Working across the Perth metropolitan area, you will support individuals to increase independence, build social connections, develop life skills and work towards their recovery goals.
This casual position offers flexibility and variety, with opportunities to work across a range of locations and support needs.
We're looking for people who are compassionate, adaptable and committed to supporting others on their recovery journey.
You will have:
We have multiple casual positions available, working between Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
At Richmind WA, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live a meaningful life, connected to their community and supported in their recovery and wellbeing journey.
As a leading Western Australian mental health organisation, we provide inclusive, community-based residential, outreach and mental health services for adults and young people. Through evidence-based practice, lived experience leadership and person-centred support, we help people build confidence, strengthen resilience and achieve their goals.
Our 2024-2028 Strategic Plan, Shaping the Future, Today, reflects our commitment to leading transformative services, bridging gaps in the mental health system, influencing lasting change and creating a resilient future for the communities we serve.
Everything we do is guided by our values:
Inclusion is at the heart of who we are. We celebrate diversity and welcome people from all backgrounds, cultures, identities and lived experiences. We value the unique perspectives of people with lived and living experience of mental health recovery, disability, and those from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, culturally diverse, LGBTQIA+ and other underrepresented communities.
As a Rainbow Tick accredited organisation, we are committed to creating safe, welcoming and inclusive spaces for our staff, consumers and communities.
It takes courage to support people through recovery. It also takes courage to challenge thinking, build new approaches and create meaningful change.
At Richmind WA, you'll join a team that is passionate about improving mental wellbeing outcomes and committed to creating a workplace where people feel valued, supported and empowered to grow.
