About the Technology and Systems Coordinator RoleThis newly created position is a rare opportunity for the right person to help build and influence the future of technology, systems and AI enabled ways of working at TAG Financial Services. As our business continues to evolve, you will work alongside senior leadership to improve processes, support innovation and help our people get the most from digital tools.
This role oversees day-to-day system administration, monitors and maintains core business applications, supports projects (including AI adoption), provides training and ensures reliable access to IT systems and tools for all team members.
The Technology and Systems Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Melbourne, VIC, reporting to the General Manager – Technology and Systems.

While an interest in technology is important, this role does not require deep technical expertise. Success will come from ensuring our team has reliable, secure and effective technology tools, support the successful delivery of projects and contribute to initiatives that enhance productivity, collaboration and client outcomes.
The ideal candidate will be naturally curious but also balanced with thoughtful judgement and a cautious approach to risk.
Required QualificationsExperience in an operations, systems support, administration, or coordination role.Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, and deliver tasks to completion.Proven problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes and implement practical solutions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience supporting internal users and coordinating the resolution of system, process, or operational issues.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive relationships with colleagues, vendors, and external partners.A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement and learning.Sound judgement, attention to risk, and an understanding of information security principles.An interest in technology and business improvement, with a willingness to adopt and support new systems and processes.Experience within a professional services or financial services environment is beneficial.Familiarity with business software applications, coordinating vendors and technology-enabled business processes will be advantageous.
