Senior Electrician

REA Global is looking for a qualified electrician to join our team in a permanent, full-time in-house position.

We’re looking for a capable electrician who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems and wants the stability of being part of an established internal team.

This isn’t a role where you’ll simply be sent out to do the same job every day. You’ll work across a variety of electrical, service, fault-finding and rectification work and have the support of an experienced operations team behind you.

Your work will include a mixture of:

• Residential electrical work
• Light commercial electrical work
• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Switchboard work
• Electrical upgrades and modifications
• Testing and rectification
• Service and maintenance
• Electrical compliance work
• Attending customer properties to diagnose and resolve electrical issues
• Working alongside our internal trades and operations teams
• Completing required job and compliance documentation

There is plenty of variety and the role will suit an electrician who enjoys using their technical skills and solving problems rather than simply completing repetitive installations.

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, technically capable and takes responsibility for getting the job done properly.

You’ll need:

• Current Queensland Electrical Mechanic Licence
• Current driver’s licence
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
• Good knowledge of residential electrical systems
• High standard of workmanship
• Ability to work independently
• Good communication skills
• Professional approach when dealing with customers
• Strong focus on safety and compliance
• Reliability and personal accountability

Broader residential and commercial electrical experience will be highly regarded.
