Remedial Massage Therapist

About the role

You will provide high-quality, individualised remedial massage treatments to a diverse range of clients, helping them manage pain, improve mobility, support recovery and enhance their overall health and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Conducting thorough client consultations and assessments to understand individual needs, goals and concerns

• Developing personalised treatment plans based on each client's presentation and treatment goals

• Delivering high-quality remedial massage using a range of appropriate techniques

• Providing professional, compassionate and client-centred care

• Maintaining accurate client records and treatment notes

• Building strong, long-term relationships with clients and supporting client retention

• Working collaboratively with other practitioners within the clinic to support coordinated client care

• Maintaining a high standard of professionalism, hygiene and workplace safety

• Participating in team discussions, meetings and relevant professional development opportunities

About you

• Diploma of Remedial Massage or equivalent qualification

• Current professional association membership and appropriate insurance

• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology and remedial massage principles

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team environment

• Professional, reliable and client-focused approach

• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
