The Opportunity Working closely with the Centre Manager, you will play a key leadership role in supporting the daily operations of the service while mentoring educators and driving high quality outcomes across all areas of the centre.
Key Responsibilities - Support the Centre Manager with the day to day leadership and operations of the service
- Mentor, coach, and inspire educators to deliver engaging educational programs
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and the local community
- Support compliance with the National Quality Framework, Education and Care Services Regulations, and Aspire policies
- Assist with enrolments, occupancy, rostering, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture
- Support the achievement of quality, operational, and financial goals
- Contribute to a safe, welcoming, and inspiring learning environment
About You You are a motivated and approachable leader who is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys supporting teams to succeed.
To be successful, you will have:
- ACECQA approved Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education
- Previous experience as an Assistant Centre Manager, Educational Leader, Lead Educator, or in a similar leadership role
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standard, and Education and Care Services Regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship building skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis qualifications
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current National Police Check
- Experience using XAP or similar childcare management software will be highly regarded
