About the role
The Information and Records Management (IRM) Section plays a central role in ensuring DVA’s information is managed as a reliable and accessible record of Government activity.
IRM supports records management across the full lifecycle, from system capture and day-to-day use through to storage, access and long-term preservation. The work spans four key areas:
Depending on your area of expertise, you may support digital recordkeeping systems, contribute to the management of repositories and collections, or provide advice to strengthen recordkeeping practices. This may include supporting the effective use and continuous improvement of EDRMS platforms, repositories and related information management processes.
We are seeking a capable and adaptable APS6 who can deliver practical, high-quality records management services in a complex environment.
DUTIESA merit pool of suitable applicants may be created which may be used to fill future ongoing and non-ongoing vacancies should they become available over the next 18 months.
Successful applicants engaged into the APS will be subject to a probation period.
