Accounts Payroll Officer (Vietnamese Speaking)

Main duties and Responsibilities;
1. Payroll processing

• Process end-to-end payroll in MYOB, including timesheets, leave, new starters, terminations, adjustments and corrections.
• Apply SCHADS Award conditions, including allowances, penalties, overtime and leave loading.

2. Tax, superannuation & reporting

• Manage PAYG withholding, TFN declarations and superannuation processing and reconciliation.

3. Employee maintenance & salary packaging

• Maintain employee payroll records and MYOB profiles, including award classifications, pay rates and employment changes.
• Administer salary packaging, FBT items and salary-sacrifice superannuation via AccessPay.

4. Reconciliation & support

• Complete payroll reconciliations and support month-end, year-end and audit activities.
• Respond to payroll enquiries while maintaining confidentiality and accurate records.
• Manage payroll approval delegation in MYOB as required.

• Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping or equivalent relevant qualification.

• Minimum 1 year of end-to-end payroll experience.
• Sound knowledge of PAYG withholding, TFN declarations and superannuation.
• Knowledge of salary packaging and salary sacrifice.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with MYOB.
• Strong general IT skills.

• Familiarity with SCHADS Award interpretation.
• Familiarity with STP Phase 2 and Payday Super.
• Experience in aged care, not-for-profit or multi-program organisations.
