About the Role

The Chiropractic Assistant Leader is a unique dual-role position that combines leadership with hands-on clinic support.

You'll spend part of your week working as a Chiropractic Assistant, supporting our chiropractors, patients, and daily clinic operations. The remainder of your time will be dedicated to leading, coaching, and developing our Chiropractic Assistant team to ensure every clinic delivers an outstanding patient experience.

Although your responsibilities will vary depending on the shift, you will be paid at the Chiropractic Assistant Leader rate for all hours worked, recognising that leadership is part of your role every day.

This position is ideal for someone who leads by example, enjoys mentoring others, and is passionate about building a positive team culture while delivering excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership

• Lead, coach, mentor, and support the Chiropractic Assistant team.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture.
• Model our values of Team, Excellence, Growth, and Education in every interaction.
• Build strong working relationships with chiropractors and clinic staff.
• Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of team members.
• Provide regular coaching and constructive feedback to help others grow.
• Assist with conflict resolution and encourage respectful, open communication.
• Collaborate with management to improve clinic systems, workflows, and team performance.
• Lead by example through professionalism, initiative, and a positive attitude.

Chiropractic Assistant Shifts

• Support chiropractors throughout patient appointments.
• Deliver an exceptional patient experience from arrival through to departure.
• Manage front desk responsibilities, appointments, and patient enquiries.
• Help ensure the clinic operates efficiently each day.
• Maintain a welcoming, organised, and professional clinic environment.

About You

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience leading or managing a team.
• A natural ability to build strong relationships and bring people together.
• A commitment to delivering excellence in everything you do.
• A passion for coaching, mentoring, and helping others grow.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to remain calm, adaptable, and solutions-focused in a busy environment.
• Professional, approachable, and positive.

Desirable

• Previous experience in a chiropractic or allied health clinic.
• Customer service or reception experience.
• Experience training, coaching, or mentoring team members.
