About the role
We are seeking a qualified A-Class Electrician to join our on-site maintenance team at Bianco Reinforcing. This is a hands-on role working with a wide range of fixed plant and production machinery critical to daily operations.
You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical systems to minimise downtime and ensure safe, efficient production, while supporting the broader maintenance team in keeping plant and equipment running reliably and cost-effectively.
Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you'll carry out electrical maintenance and fault-finding on reinforcing steel processing machinery, responding to breakdowns and completing preventative maintenance to keep equipment running reliably. You'll work across motors, control circuits, sensors, PLC-controlled equipment, and safety systems, as well as electrical installations and upgrades to plant and machinery, using schematics and drawings to guide your work. Completing JSAs before non-routine tasks, and ensuring all work complies with Australian Standards, WHS, and site safety procedures, will be part of your day-to-day. You'll work closely with fitters, supervisors, and production teams, look for ways to improve production line effectiveness, and keep accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
About YouYou're an experienced industrial or manufacturing maintenance electrician with strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills and a solid understanding of industrial electrical systems and machinery. You're comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, safety-focused with a strong eye for detail, and reliable and proactive in a fast-paced production environment. You're committed to only carrying out electrical work you're lawfully authorised and trained to perform.
