Research and Royalty Officer
About ACSAA
The Authorship Collecting Society Australia Aotearoa (ACSAA), previously known as the Australian Writers' Guild Authorship Collecting Society (AWGACS), was established in 1996 as the copyright collecting society for screen authors from Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. Since then, we have collected over $33 million dollars for members and authors from around the world.
Mission Statement
My mission is to ensure the ACSAA database remains up to date with title and member data, and that members have their enquiries resolved in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
Process membership application forms.
Research and recruit potential members.
Resolve general enquiries via email and telephone.
Reconnect with members from the ‘unable to contact’ list.
Create accurate and detailed contact and membership records.
Complete enquiry files and other administrative tasks from sister societies.
Research and add Australian and Aotearoa New Zealand films and episodes to the database.
Prepare the distribution by manually matching foreign distribution data and spot-checking automatic matches.
Other general administrative work including, but not limited to, data entry, photocopying, filing, answering calls and administrative executive support.
Key Skills
Good written and verbal communication.
Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry.
Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team.
Excellent work organisation and time management with the ability to complete tasks with competing deadlines.
Reporting Arrangements
I report to the Director, Industry and Operations.

The salary for this role is tied to the Clerks - Private Sector Award (MA000002) - Level 2.
