An outstanding opportunity is available for an experienced healthcare operations and improvement leader to join the Alfred Care Group as Deputy Director of Operations – Outpatients.

Based within the Emergency, Virtual Care and Outpatients Program, the role provides strategic and operational leadership for Specialist Clinics, supporting more than 315,000 outpatient appointments annually across medical, surgical, nursing and allied health services.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will lead teams across referral management, GP liaison, clinic administration, data and informatics, while driving improved access, patient flow and service delivery.

• Lead and support teams that support operations across Outpatients
• Drive service excellence, access reform and transformation
• Build strong relationships with clinical and external stakeholders
• Contribute to strategic priorities across a leading Victorian health service

About You

You will be a collaborative and experienced healthcare leader with strong operational, clinical and improvement expertise.

You will have:

• A relevant degree in healthcare, management, change management or a related field
• Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, project management, analytical and communication skills
• Experience in specialist outpatient services, access reform, health service operations or a complex clinical environment is highly regarded
