Locomotive Driver

Watco is seeking a qualified full-time Locomotive Driver to operate intermodal freight services from our Metro Forrestfield depot (Perth, WA). This is a permanent full-time role working rostered hours in accordance with the Watco WA Transportation Services Pty Ltd Enterprise Agreement 2023.

• Operate Watco intermodal freight services.

• Comply with rail safety, HSEQ policies, and operating procedures.

• Participate in a 24/7 shift roster, including nights and weekends.

• Travel or work away from home when required.

• Current Locomotive Driver Qualification (Certificate IV – Transport and Logistics – Rail Operations or equivalent).

• Recent locomotive driving experience.

• Current manual Class C driver’s licence.

• Customer‑focused approach.

• Ability to pass a Category 1 Rail Medical and Drug and Alcohol Screen.

• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
