Automation and Power Platform Specialist

The Automation and Power Platform Specialist contributes to development, support and technical expertise in the Departments Microsoft Power Platform (CoPilot, Dynamics, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) and Sharepoint space. The role is responsible for working with business units to develop automation solutions within power platform, assist with testing, deployments, design and implementation of solutions. This role will be responsible for supporting adoption and optimisation of power apps and automations specifically with a lense to utilising CoPilot capabilities to automate business processes. 

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

• Formal tertiary qualifications in Information Systems or related discipline
• Demonstrated experience with Power Platform development, Azure development, DevOps, providing advice and support regarding the Microsoft 365 Stack, Azure Platform. Experience in the use of Agile Methodologies to assist in cloud side development.
• Proven track record of working with vendor solutions across architecture, configuration, customisation, and optimisation, as well as experience with SharePoint, developing in a Cloud environment. Experience with Microsoft DevOps, development lifecycle practices, understanding of development methodologies using API’s.
• Extensive experience in process digitalisation and automation using Power platform (PowerApps, Power Automate) including solution design, development, testing and support.
• Demonstrated ability to use strong technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills to find problems and then utilize superior interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with peers, internal customers, and executives to inform design and deliver solutions, while working on simultaneous projects each with challenging timelines.

This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
