Senior Project Manager – IT | Microsoft Dynamics ERP Implementation

This privately-owned Australian business operates across farming, packing, ripening, market trading and national distribution, supplying fresh produce to retail and wholesale customers throughout Australia and internationally. With a diverse, multi-site operating footprint and continued growth, the organisation is investing in an enterprise-wide ERP transformation to strengthen its systems, processes and technology foundations.

Partnering with the Chief Financial Officer and the Leadership Team, the Senior Project Manager – IT will lead the successful delivery of the organisation’s ERP implementation. This is a critical client-side leadership role with responsibility for the program from implementation readiness and planning through to deployment and post-implementation stabilisation.

The ERP architecture will be centred on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as the finance and operations back end, integrated with a front-end platform supporting the organisation’s business- and industry-specific processes. The successful candidate will establish the governance, delivery disciplines, stakeholder alignment and organisational readiness required to implement a scalable technology platform across a complex, multi-site operating environment.

The role will take ownership of project governance, implementation partner management, stakeholder engagement, business process improvement, change management, testing, data migration, cutover and deployment. Working closely with executives, functional leaders, operational teams and external technology partners, the Senior Project Manager will ensure project scope, costs, risks, timelines and business outcomes are effectively managed.

The successful candidate will be an accomplished ERP project leader with proven client-side experience successfully delivering a MS Dynamics implementation. You will bring disciplined execution, strong commercial judgement and the ability to engage stakeholders across executive, functional and operational levels. Experience delivering ERP programs within complex, multi-site operational business will be highly regarded.

Essential:

• Proven experience successfully delivering an end-to-end MS Dynamics ERP implementation.

• Demonstrated client-side ERP project or program leadership experience.

• Strong experience across project governance, scope, budget, risk, scheduling and executive reporting.

• Proven capability managing implementation partners, systems integrators and technology vendors.

• Experience leading business requirements, process design, testing, data migration, cutover and deployment.

• Demonstrated success delivering business process improvement, stakeholder engagement and organisational change.

• Experience operating within a complex, multi-site business environment.

• Strong communication, commercial judgement and executive stakeholder-management capability.

Candidates without demonstrated MS Dynamics implementation experience will not be considered.
