Retail Sales Consultant

Volare Tiles & Flooring is one of Australia's leading tile and flooring suppliers, helping homeowners, builders, designers and developers bring their projects to life. We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Sales Consultant to join our Geelong showroom.

As a Retail Sales Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for customers visiting our showroom. You will assist customers with product selection, prepare quotations, follow up leads, and guide projects from inspiration through to sale.

You will work with homeowners, builders, architects, designers, tilers and developers, helping them create beautiful spaces while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

• Welcome and assist customers in the showroom

• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable tile and flooring solutions

• Prepare quotations and follow up sales opportunities

• Process sales orders and customer payments

• Maintain showroom displays, flat lays and merchandising standards

• Answer customer enquiries via phone, email and in person

• Coordinate deliveries and customer collections

• Assist with stock enquiries and administration tasks

• Maintain accurate customer records using company systems

• Contribute to a clean, professional and inspiring showroom environment

• Interior design experience or a strong passion for design

• Exceptional customer service skills

• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities

• Confidence working with technology and business systems

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment

• Professional presentation and attention to detail

• Experience in tiles, flooring, building materials or interior products

• Previous retail sales experience

• Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM/business systems
