Warehouse Assistant

GRP Australia is a growing Australian manufacturer and supplier of Glass Reinforced Polymer (GRP/FRP) products. From our Banyo facility in North Brisbane, we supply innovative composite solutions for infrastructure, industrial, mining, water, and construction projects throughout Australia.

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on role that combines warehousing, quality assurance, stock management, and light fabrication activities.

About the Role

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring incoming goods are received and checked correctly, customer orders are accurately prepared and dispatched, and warehouse operations run efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

• Receiving and unloading incoming deliveries.
• Conducting quality assurance (QA) inspections on incoming goods and reporting any non-conformances.
• Identifying, labelling, and storing stock in designated warehouse locations.
• Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
• Cutting GRP grating and pultruded structural profiles to customer requirements.
• Operating hand tools and warehouse equipment safely.
• Assisting with stocktakes and inventory control activities.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
• Assisting the Warehouse Supervisor with day-to-day warehouse operations.
• Loading and unloading freight vehicles as required.
• Following company quality, safety, and operational procedures.

The successful applicant will possess:

• Experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good organisational skills and ability to work independently.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks.
• Experience using hand tools and measuring equipment.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• A current driver's licence.
• A forklift licence
