Apprentice Electrician

About the role

TheCrew is a small electrical service team working across schools, councils and commercial clients along the Gold Coast–Brisbane corridor. You'll be on real jobs from day one, under proper supervision from our licensed electricians — not left to sink, and not stuck sweeping floors. You'll be learning the trade the right way, working on varied service, maintenance and small-works jobs.

Key responsibilities

• Working alongside our licensed electricians on real service and maintenance jobs

• Learning fault-finding, repairs, small installs, switchboard and power/lighting work

• Testing, compliance and test & tag

• Off-the-job training at TAFE / your RTO, on-the-job everything else

• Getting onto client sites — schools, councils and commercial — and learning to carry yourself professionally

About you

• Reliable, keen to learn, and a good attitude — turn up on time, listen, and have a crack

• Australian driver's licence

• White Card (or willing to get one)

• Blue Card (working with children) — or willing to obtain one, as we work in schools

• Right to work in Australia

• Tell us what year you're up to — 1st to 4th year, or a fresh school-leaver ready to start

• Handy to have: Pre-vocational Cert II in Electrotechnology, or any hands-on / labouring experience

• Handy to have: Your own basic hand tools and PPE
