Workshop Labourer/Scrap Metal: Full-Time

About The Position:
Full-time position (Monday to Friday) that requires manual loading/labouring capabilities. You will be responsible for sorting and processing scrap metal material from local residents, clients, businesses and other various locations. To be successful in this role, you will be able to work well under pressure, with others and be able to work unsupervised. The job will initially consist in working in the processing yard undertaking different tasks and roles in order to learn the ropes of our industry and be grow in the direction that is right for you.
We're seeking an ambitious individual with excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to think ahead.
Skills & Experience:
- Forklift ticket
- Drivers licence
- Ability to perform manual tasks
- Knowledge of scrap metal processing (desirable, not essential)
- Knowledge of hand tools (desirable)
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Have the right to work in Australia
