The Independent Health and Aged Care Pricing Authority (IHACPA) is looking for talented professionals to join our Hospital Policy and Classifications Branch, where you will help develop and maintain classification systems that support national hospital and aged care pricing.

Working with complex datasets, technical experts and senior stakeholders, you will contribute to evidence-based policy, provide specialist advice and help drive improvements to classifications that reflect contemporary clinical practice and service delive

To be suitable for role, applicants must hold the following formal qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in a relevant discipline. 
• Understanding of health classification systems (DRGs, AN-SNAP, aged care classifications). 
• Experience in clinical classification development or their practical application. 
• Experience leading or contributing to projects in a dynamic, stakeholder environment, and delivering successful outcomes.
