Casual Nursery team member

Mitre 10 Beenleigh (Locally Owned & Operated) is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our Nursery team.

Position: Nursery Team Member

Employment Type: Casual

Shifts: Late starts (10:00am–6:00pm weekdays) and Saturdays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality customer service with a positive, proactive approach

• Assist customers with product selection and general nursery advice

• Perform manual lifting and handling tasks

• Replenish stock, ensuring shelves are well presented and ticketed

• Follow all safety procedures and processes

• Maintain general housekeeping standards within the Nursery area

About You

• Experienced in nursery operations and plant care (essential)

• A reliable team player with a strong work ethic

• Well‑presented, motivated, and customer‑focused

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual lifting

• Competent in basic numeracy and literacy

• Able to follow instructions and work efficiently

• Committed to safe work practices
