QC Assistant

• Monitor production processes through routine product inspections and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
• Conduct and accurately record scale, metal detector, gas analyser, air temperature, thermometer, label, and product quality checks.
• Maintain daily records and documentation for traceability, identify issues, and ensure corrective actions are completed promptly.
• Conduct Black Bag (foreign body), GMP, and pre- and post-operational audits to ensure factory compliance.
• Work closely with the production team to maintain high-quality products and perform other duties required for the role.

About You:

• HACCP or Food Safety training with previous experience in a similar role.
• Experience in the food industry, particularly seafood, meat, poultry, or food safety inspection.
• Sound understanding of WHS, GMP, and food safety requirements, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, work in cold temperatures, and hold full Australian working rights.
