About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Furniture Supervisor to join our growing team. This is a dynamic role responsible for overseeing the end-to-end preparation, quality control, warehousing, and logistics of all furniture hire operations.

You will play a key role in ensuring every order is delivered accurately, on time, and to the highest standard, while leading warehouse operations and supporting event delivery across local and interstate projects.

This is not a desk-based role you’ll be actively involved across the warehouse, on-site events, and logistics coordination.

 Key Responsibilities

Order Management & Quality Control

• Review and verify all furniture orders in coordination with the Sales team

• Ensure accurate quantities, specifications, and event requirements

• Oversee timely preparation of all hire items, prioritising urgent and complex jobs

• Maintain strict quality control standards for all outgoing inventory

Warehouse & Inventory Management

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment

• Oversee stock control, inventory movement, and damage reporting

• Implement efficient systems for storage, tracking, and retrieval of furniture assets

Logistics & Scheduling

• Plan and coordinate all deliveries, returns, and transport schedules

• Manage pick-and-pack processes to ensure accurate dispatch

• Supervise on-site setups and lead crews for major events

• Coordinate interstate jobs, including travel, freight, and crew scheduling

Maintenance & Repairs

• Identify and manage furniture repairs and refurbishment

• Coordinate with external suppliers and trades for specialised work

• Ensure all items are fit for hire before dispatch

Team Leadership

• Lead from the front in a hands-on capacity across warehouse and site operations

• Supervise, mentor, and support casual staff and delivery crews

• Delegate tasks effectively while maintaining a strong safety culture

• Assist with hiring and workforce planning as required

About You

• Proven experience in warehouse supervision, logistics, or event furniture operations

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

• Hands-on and physically capable — comfortable working in warehouse and on-site environments

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes

• Experience leading teams and coordinating large-scale or interstate jobs

• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence (MR/HR licence highly regarded)

• Forklift licence advantageous
