About the role
Melbourne Radiology Clinic is a busy independent Radiology clinic based in East Melbourne. This is an ideal opportunity for a Medical Receptionist that is passionate about providing excellent patient care.
About the role
You will be the front-line of a leading independent radiology clinic. As part of our team, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the practice and ensuring that all patients are provided with the highest level of customer service.
Key responsibilities
Dealing with telephone enquiries and bookings
Organising our doctors diaries
Communicating with patients: Meet and greet patients
Scheduling patient appointments
Manage patient invoicing and receipting
Banking and accounts
Marketing and liaising with referring physicians
All other administrative duties as required and directed by the Practice Manager.

The successful candidate will have:
Previous reception work in Radiology, Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery Practice would be advantageous however candidates with a background as a GP medical receptionist are encouraged to apply.
A minimum of 1 year medical receptionist experience
Well polished excellent customer service skills, including a polite telephone manner
Immaculate presentation
Proactive attitude and attention to detail
Previous experience with Medicare / Workcover and thirdparty accounts
A strong ability to multi task
The ability to work within a cohesive team environment
Familiarity with MS Office Suite and Windows environment
Previous experience with Medical Software (practice currently uses Karisma)
The successful candidate would be expected to participate in a 5 day rotating roster with early shifts commencing at 7.15am and late shifts finishing at 6.15pm, Monday to Friday with 8.30am to 2.30pm Saturday shifts once every 5 weeks.
Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
