Are you ready to support contract assurance and inspections across Brisbane’s public spaces?
We are looking for a safety focused and detail minded team member who can undertake field-based inspections, capture accurate evidence and support safe, compliant and reliable contract outcomes.
Public Space Operations, through its Contracts Management function, delivers a wide range of contract-based services across the city, supporting clean, safe and well-maintained public spaces.
The Role:
As a Contracts Inspection Officer, you will conduct field-based inspections and audit checks at contractor service sites to confirm compliance with contract requirements, safety expectations and agreed standards.
You will capture accurate, auditable evidence and maintain clear inspection records that support assurance reporting, corrective actions and continuous improvement.
You will communicate professionally with contractors and internal stakeholders to gather factual information, and escalate non-compliance, defects and risks through agreed pathways for action and close out.

While not mandatory, experience supporting contractor compliance, safety inspections, evidence collation, action tracking, or inspections across services such as cleaning, security, hygiene, landscape, litter or grass cutting will also be highly regarded.
