Our client is a large NSW Government organisation responsible for maintaining and improving roads and transport infrastructure across NSW.
You’ll join a local crew completing road and concrete works around Gundagai.

About the Role

Hands-on road worker role supporting concrete slab replacement and general road works. You’ll work outdoors with an experienced crew using hand tools, power tools and equipment.

Rate: $45.45 per hour + superannuation
Location: Gundagai, NSW
Anticipated Hours: 8.5 hours per day/ 76 hours per fortnight. (9-day fortnight)
Anticipated duration: ASAP - 23 October 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with concrete and road repairs
• Use hand and power tools
• Prepare and clean work sites
• Move materials and equipment
• Work safely around roads and machinery
• Follow instructions from the Team Leader
• Complete daily pre-starts and safety checks
• Keep work areas clean and safe

• Current White Card
• Current Silica Awareness Training
• Worker on Foot (WOF) certificate or willing to obtain prior to commencement
• Current Australian C Class driver's licence or higher
• Traffic Controller (TC) ticket or willing to obtain
• Physically fit for outdoor manual work
• Concrete or civil experience preferred
• Reliable and safety focused
• Able to provide two recent employment references
• Willing to complete a Police Check
• Valid Australian working rights required - No visa sponsorship available
