About the Role:  

As a Camco Mechanical Apprentice, you will work towards earning a Certificate III qualification, specialising in one of the following trades:

• Mechanical Trade (Fitting and Machining)

• Mechanical Trade (Fitting)

• Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking/Welding)

• Electrician Trade (Electrical Fitting)

What You Will Do:

• Develop a wide range of mechanical engineering skills through workplace-based learning.

• Stay committed to safety and personal wellbeing in all aspects of your work.

• Complete tasks with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

• Adhere to company uniform and PPE requirements (even at TAFE).

• Work with a supportive supervisor to tailor your learning program and gain practical, hands-on experience.

• Complete a mechanical aptitude test and undergo a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screening.

• Hold a current Australian driver’s licence for potential travel to work sites.
