Hi. I’m Kate, COO at Moceanic.

Before I tell you about the job, let me tell you why I like coming to work.

Moceanic exists for one reason. Better fundraisers, better world. We coach and train the people who raise money for causes that matter, and everything we teach is built on what actually works, not on someone’s opinion. We’re a micro international - small team, big reach, working with fundraisers in more than 25 countries. Our coaches do brilliant work. I watch it happen every week. But brilliant coaching only works when the right information reaches the right person at the right time. When that flow breaks down, even the best coaching falls flat. And that matters more than it sounds, because at the other end of every session is a fundraiser trying to bring in money for a cause they believe in.

Protecting that flow is your job.

Some days that’s checking in with a coach about what’s coming up for their client next week. Other days it’s chasing a plan a client promised, or getting a session booked before it slips. You’ll use our systems to keep track of who’s doing what and where the gaps are. You’ll talk to clients often - but this isn’t sales and it isn’t strategy. You’re there to ask the practical questions that keep things moving.

What success looks like after three months

No client communication slips through the gaps. Every coach knows their week before it starts. It’s simple to say and hard to do, which is why the role exists.

What you will get

You'll join a small, values-led team working across time zones and continents, all pointed at the same goal. You'll have real flexibility (this role is built around that). You'll work close enough with the COO to learn fast, and far enough to own your patch. And you'll be part of something genuinely useful: helping good causes raise more money.

The details

• $50 to $70 AUD an hour, depending on experience, on a contract basis
• 10 to 15 hours a week 
• Open ended contract, with a review point at three months and the view to becoming permanent part time.
• Ideally based in Australia or New Zealand and fully remote 
• Full access to Moceanic training from day one
• Ongoing management and team support 
• Once trained, autonomy over communications with clients so you can get on with it.
