Who We’re Looking For

• Childcare Centre Chef/ Kitchen Hand
• Current WWCC
• Foundations of Child Safety Training certificate
• Valid working rights/visa
• Experience in a similar cooking or chef role (childcare or education setting preferred)
• Knowledge of child nutrition and dietary requirements
• Strong organisation and time management skills
• A positive, team-oriented attitude
• Passion for building genuine relationships with children, families, and teams
• Be available to work on at least 3 days between 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (Fixed)
• can provide referees who can comment on your relevant experience
• Must have the Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or willing to obtain one.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare healthy, age-appropriate meals and snacks
• Cater for dietary requirements, allergies, and cultural preferences
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
• Manage food ordering, stock rotation, and kitchen supplies
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and centre policies
