Disability Support Worker for Centre Based Children Program

Sunland Support are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to support Children in a Centre Based at Chatswood -

Weekly from 2:30pm to 6pm for after school program

&/or

Weekend 9-5pm

Responsibilities:

• Providing support to Children with Centre Based Children Group Activities.
• Providing support to Children with activities of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication supervision.
• Assisting Children in accessing community resources and participating in social activities and transport.
• Monitoring and documenting Children progress and reporting any changes in their condition to the office.

Essentials - What do you need to apply?

• Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Disability (In Australia)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience with Children (In Australia)
• Certificate in Disability/Aged Care (Equivalent or Higher)
• First Aid & CPR Certificate (Current)
• Manual Handling Competency (Completed within last 12 months)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Police Check

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

• Preferably someone who lives on the North Shore and has previous experience working with children.
