About the role
Apunipima Cape York Health Council is a community controlled Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander health service. Servicing the communities of Cape York, with the main office is located in Cairns, Apunipima delivers public health care, and social and emotional well-being care, to community members. Being a part of the team at Apunipima means helping us deliver essential services as well as building capacity in communities to manage their own health care needs.

About the Opportunity
The Psychosocial Navigator plays a vital role in supporting individuals living with severe mental illness to access services, strengthen their independence, build meaningful social connections, and improve their overall wellbeing through a recovery-focused and culturally responsive approach. This is a Fixed Term contract ending on the 30th of June 2027.
This position is FIFO from Cairns to the Indigenous community of Aurukun on a weekly basis.
