Human Resource Director

We are seeking highly driven and innovative Human Resource Director to join our Conduct and Reviews (CAR) team, delivering strategic leadership across complex organisational environments.

As a Human Resource Director, you will lead a large, specialist, geographically dispersed team to manage code of conduct investigations, reviews of employment actions and alternate dispute resolution processes. You will have accountability for ATO policy and procedures and exercise a range of HR delegations to ensure consistent, fair and legally sound outcomes.

You will play a key role within the Working Well leadership team, collaborating with colleagues across ATO People, senior leaders, the Office of General Counsel, integrity bodies and external agencies to ensure our efforts are fit for purpose and impactful. In this influential role, you will provide strategic advice and lead coordinated resolution strategies that deliver fair, defensible and people-centred outcomes while balancing organisational, legal and employee considerations.

Certificate IV or Diploma in Government Investigations or other relevant HR qualifications are highly desirable.
