Administration - Stock Control (Rural Business)

Due to business growth an opportunity to start immediately has become available for a Administration & Stock Controller to be involved in a progressive fast paced business.

About the role:

               Total Rural Supplies is a well-respected, privately owned Rural Merchandise Business which is expanding rapidly requires a full-time Administration - Stock Controlller to incorporate into our team as a new position. Focusing on administration and stock management duties, the successful applicant will need to be committed to providing high quality outcomes with an attention to detail and an ability to be adaptable. Given the nature of the role it is essential that the successful applicant has the ability to be a problem solver, is highly organised and self-motivated.

Key function of the role:

• Managing OH & S Compliance and reporting

• Ad hoc administration tasks specifically for the General Manager.

  • Minute taking of meetings.

• HR – Including:

  • Job add creation & onboarding.

  • Review reporting minute taking

  • Performance Management as required
    

• Operating System Maintenance including:

  • Data entry

  • Accounts receivable

  • Debtor Control

  • Inventory code creation.

  • Migration of mass price files

  • Price book management

• Goods inward reporting co-ordination.

• Regulatory reporting and licence renewals.

• Inventory Management including

  • Product ordering.

  • Variance Investigation.

  • Order confirmation matching.

• Rebate reporting, recording and management.

• General administrative duties.

• Phone enquiries – as required.

• Creating internal processes, subsequent implementation and management.

Key personal attributes:

We are looking for people that have the passion and commitment for a positive outcome. The successful applicant must be good communicators with effective courteous interpersonal skills. You must be adaptable to change need to be energetic, organised and dedicated. A good attention to detail and a methodical approach to process will be required to get the job done. Experience is a must with a good understanding of stock and the document flow of a sales orientated business.
