Sales Representative - Timber

Hume Doors & Timber (QLD) Pty Ltd is Australia's leading 100% Australian owned Door Manufacturer and Timber Wholesaler, marketing its products to the hardware, timber and building supply outlets. The Company is seeking to hire an enthusiastic, and driven Timber Sales Representative, to represent our growing timber wholesale division.  The role will require travel from Northern Brisbane to Central QLD regions.

The successful applicant must demonstrate a professional manner with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  You must also possess drive, a vibrant personality and the ability to deliver a high level of customer service.  An ability to adjust to changing demands and adapt to travel schedules is essential. This role is crucial to our organisation as you are the link between our timber wholesale department and our end customers.  It is necessary for you to possess an ability to increase your knowledge quickly and then be able to share that knowledge with others.  

Your role will include developing relationships with key purchasing decision makers within our industry such as Hardware and building supplies retailers, helping them to understand our full product offering and the benefits of each of our products. 

Previous experience within our industry and knowledge of timber products would be a significant advantage, although not essential.

This role offers a salary that is commensurate with proven driven results along with a fully maintained vehicle.  This role will report directly to the State Timber Manager.
