Construction Materials Testing Technician - ENTRY LEVEL

Superior Quarry Testing is a family owned and run independent construction materials testing facility operating in South-East Queensland.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently looking for people to assist our specialised team of technicians working across concrete, soils and aggregates. This is a casual entry level position, and you must have full availability across Monday - Friday and hold a current driver's license. You will be required to complete field and/or laboratory testing within timeframes and in accordance with standards and regulations. This role will encompass all aspects of laboratory work learning from the ground up.

SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:

• Available Monday to Friday (with early starts)

• Able to work weekends and regular overtime if required;

• MUST be reliable, punctual and honest;

• Is physically fit and able to perform a manual labour-intensive role which includes heavy lifting;

• Good Mathematics, Handwriting and English (both written & verbal);

• You MUST be able to follow stringent policies and procedures with good attention to detail;

• Able to work efficiently and effectively within a team and individually;

• Be enthusiastic and motivated to work;

• MUST be well presented with a professional outlook and work ethic;

• Be able to obtain a construction industry white card;

• The ability to pass a medical and/or drug screen if required;

• A current driver's license with a clean driving record (or working towards one).
