WORKSHOP ASSISTANT

Hawker Roofing are looking for a reliable & self motivated workshop assistant with an upbeat attitude who will provide critical hands-on support to our tradesmen. We offer stable work hours and on the job training in a supportive team environment with modern machinery.

This position includes but is not limited to the following:

• sheet metal fabrication

• warehouse management

• material & stock control

• loading & unloading of materials including preparation for deliveries

• general workshop duties including the ability to use power tools

• keep a clean safe work environment with a strong safety mindset

MUST HAVES:

• motivation to work and the ability to work independently

• ability to take direction and adapt to changing priorities

• car, MR & forklift licences

• white card, asbestos & silica training
