Cook/ Chef

About the Role 

Reporting to the Chef Manager at Sea Views Manor, supervise a team of Food Service Assistants to provide fresh, high-quality meals for residents including catering for special dietary requirements. You will ensure that the kitchen is clean, safe food handling practices are followed, and all meals are nutritious and well presented. Casual position available and must be available to work weekends.

Essential Requirements 

• Experience as a Cook in aged care
• HLTFSE001 'Follow basic food safety practices' 
• HLTFSE005 'Apply and monitor food safety requirements' 
• HLTFSE007 'Oversee the day-to-day implementation of food safety in the workplace' 
• Current and valid police check 
• Vaccination certificate
