About The Role
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Palms Aged Care Facility located in Ingham, Outback Queensland. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred care that enhances the wellbeing and quality of life of our residents. As an integral member of the team, you will contribute to clinical care delivery, lead and support staff, and ensure compliance with aged care standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised care plans using a Positive Wellbeing ModelDeliver, monitor, and evaluate evidence-based care strategiesMaintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation using electronic systemsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external service providersProvide leadership, guidance, and support to care staff, students, and volunteersContribute to workforce management, including rostering and performance supportEnsure compliance with legislative, accreditation, and organisational requirementsPromote a culture of safety, quality improvement, and continuous learningSupport service delivery outcomes, KPIs, and financial targets
About You
You are a dedicated and motivated Registered Nurse with 12 months of clinical knowledge and leadership capability. You are passionate about aged care and committed to delivering safe, high-quality services.
Essential Requirements
Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse12 months of experienceCurrent Police Check (or willing to obtain)Willing to work across all shifts, AM, PM and NDCurrent CPR certificationCurrent driver’s licenseStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to lead teams and manage competing prioritiesHold valid Australian Work Rights – Unfortunately we are not currently able to offer sponsorship
